Own Your Confidence: 7 Steps to Confidence

When we don't know our purpose behind the work we do, the relationships we seek and the choices we make in our life, we can feel disconnected, lost and lack the confidence we need to move forward.

✨Do you lack confidence in your overall purpose and vision?
✨Are your fears stopping you from moving forward?
✨Do you experience challenge within your relationships?
✨Do you find it hard to break old habits and form new ones?

"Our minds seek familiarity. The familiar feels safe, that is, until we teach ourselves that discomfort is temporary and a necessary part of transformation." - Nicole LePera

1. Power Your Purpose

"PURPOSE; The desires (or choices) of which your SOUL consistently requires, your MIND prioritises the desire and your BODY enacts the desire."

We need to take a closer look at our greatest achievements, our skills, our knowledge, what we love to talk about on a daily basis, what/who we love to listen to, are inspired by, what drives us to take action or what are current relationships, surroundings and environment look like. All of these factors play a large role in not only discovering our purpose, but taking action to live it and be fulfilled by it. So let's break it down...
1. Power Your Purpose

2. Face Your Fears

Fear is an imagination in the future that you think is going to happen. You cannot have an imagination without a memory. You cannot have a fear without a correlated memory of resentment in the past.

We have fears in our mind that co-exist with something from our past where there has been a specific moment of pain or trauma that crosses over into our current state of being. To clear a fear, we simply need to identify the root pains and dissolve the fear by neutralising the past 'pain' and addressing its benefits.

3. Unveil Your Values

If you have a big enough reason, or VISION as to WHY you are doing something, you will do it. Have you ever asked yourself the question, "If I had six months left to live, how would I spend those six months? Where would I be? What would I do? Who would I spend it with?" Sometimes asking ourselves these types of questions blocks out the external factors surrounding our lives and pulls us back into the present to remind ourselves what and who we care about most, and why.

4. Practice Makes Habit

40% of what we do everyday is set to autopilot. Habits. Everything we do in life is formed by habits. Good habits are the compound interest of self development. They may seem to make very little difference on any day, however the impact they deliver over several months and years can be huge.

5. Managing Your Mindset

The following are up to us: our attitude, judgements, emotions, determination, choices, friendships, perspective and creativity. To argue, to complain or to give up are also up to us. What is not up to us? The weather and natural disasters, other people’s opinions, emotions and judgements, the economy... Focusing exclusively what is in our power, magnifies and enhances our power.

6. Finding Your People

Why look for friends or partners who will agree with everything we say, only to build our self esteem, instead of ones who will also challenge us to grow?
Sometimes finding our people can mean leaving old relationships and people behind. Sometimes we must choose between the life we want for our future and the life we must leave behind to move forward.
